Day 4 - Esplanade and beach

Today we went to the esplanade. It is a big garden/park area by the bank of the river. We played on a cool playground, looked at some roses, saw alot of ducks and had a ride on a miniature train.

After lunch we went to Himatangi beach. The sand was very hot and the water was very cold.

After a quick shower and change of clothes we went to Gengy's for dinner. It's an all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ place and we all ate far too much. The kids all had 3 servings of dessert. Then we went straight to bed at normal time for once. We have another big day planned for tomorrow.
