Day 10 - going home
This morning we went to church and then went to the ferry.
We were on the same boat again and they played the same movies.

Day 9 - more cricket
Today we watched cricket again all day. Australia batted all day and got over 450 by the end of the day. The kids found some entertainment in getting autographs from the Black Caps and also from sliding down the hill on old signs.
After the cricket we watched a movie and had pizza for dinner.

Day 8 - cricket
Today we went to the basin to watch the test match. Australia elected to bowl first and got NZ all out by lunch for 184. The sun was shining and Dad did a glitter beard with the glitter he got for christmas from Theresa.
We were at the cricket all day and eventually it finished and we went back to the house to have dinner. We had sausages and corn and pasta. As we were getting ready for bed (but not the adults) someone knocked on the door. It was Mum's friends Philip and Josh from Upper Moutere, they had just moved to Wellington for Uni and were living just up the road. They stayed for a movie. We watched blank cheque (from 1994) which they hadn't seen, because they weren't born yet.

Day 7 - The Beehive
Today was another epic day of walking. The sun was shining and it wasn't windy. We walked down to the beehive (which was a really long way) and had a look around. We got to go to Damien O'Connor's office (he wasn't there though).
After that we had lunch under a really big tree and then went to the cable car for a ride to the top and down again.
On the way back to Pastor Jim's place, we stopped off at the national war memorial and the great war museum.
We rested awhile and played some jenga and then got in the car for a drive up to the top of the cablecar, this time to go to the space place (the observatory and planetarium). We watched a movie about exploring space for life on other planets and watched a planetarium display where constelations were pointed out in the sky.
We went out for dinner on the waterfront and afterwards went for a drive up Mount Victoria.
After that we had lunch under a really big tree and then went to the cable car for a ride to the top and down again.
